Vision, Mission, and Core Beliefs
A Structural Overview of the Stillwater Calvary Assembly of God
Our Vision We exist to experience the presence of God manifested, form disciples of Jesus, and advance the Kingdom through the power of the Holy Spirit.
A New Testament Church devoted to:
(1)The presence of God made manifest. (manifest means to make evident or certain by showing or displaying; experiencing) You can talk a person out of what they have been told, but you cannot talk them out of what they have experienced. Psalm 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man who trusts in Him.
(2)Forming disciples of Jesus. We believe that when a person personally experiences the manifested presence of God, that the Holy Spirit will create within that person a hunger and desire to seek Jesus for their salvation from sin.
(3) Advancing the Kingdom through the power of the Holy Spirit. After experiencing the manifest presence of God and accepting Jesus as their savior, there will be an excitement to share their experience with others. God will call them into a ministry that will contribute to the health and growth of Calvary Assembly of God. (Acts 1:8 / 1 Cor. 4:20)
